| | Description: A gres version of this piece launched in Spring 2012. With this piece, Nao casts a new gaze over the world of the circus, a recurrent subject matter in the brands catalogue. Even though it is a classic theme, it is original in its large size and the fact that it is a bust. As always in a piece alluding to the circus, there were no holds barred in the use of varied and bright colors in the decoration. The clear tone of the make-up contrasts with the bright red of the nose, lips and of the heart drawn on the clowns cheek. Also worth mentioning is the clowns peaceful and self-absorbed expression, as if he did not wish to move in order not to break the harmony of the moment. Brown and ocher enamels were used in the decoration of the bird to heighten its realism. | |
